About the Artist
Photo by Mary Buck, of Lightscapes Portrait Studio
An Atlanta-area resident for nearly four decades, Brenda Ehly has enjoyed a life-long affection for art, and received training in fine art and commercial design in high school and college. She taught instrumental music for sixteen years before retiring to teach and work at home.

When Brenda and her husband purchased their first house, they were honored to receive a lovely portrait of their home. This thoughtful offering inspired her to begin producing similar creations for friends and family, and then for a wider audience. She now accepts commissions for portraits of people, pets and places you love in pencil and oil paints.

“I truly love collaborating with others to design one-of-a-kind drawings and paintings for people of memories they love. In an age where communication and shopping can happen more quickly and easily than ever before, it is a joy to present a gift that will be treasured over time because it took time to create.”
